Family: The youngest child of a single father, Wyatt has a brother and two sisters. His father doesn't seem to have a job, but when money is needed it just seems to appear. He is also noted for his odd ability to sense evil.

Age 8 - Character runs away from home and travels to a distant land...
Age 9 - The character and a friend discover a secret hiding place near his home. The hiding place remains undiscovered and undisturbed at least until he becomes an adult.
Age 16 - Befriends a halfling.
Age 18 - Befriends a dwarf.
Events of Adulthood
Languishing about his life for an extra year, he eventually joins the military on a matter of honor, under the ruler of the land.

Rank: From Soldier to Lieutenant II
Events of Service: His unit is ambushed by a superior force. At first it looked like he was going to win, but something he did screwed it all up and his unit lost the day. Luckily no one recognized him as the cause. He was later decorated for heroism. His immediate superior officer is slain, and he assumes command of the unit and is given a field promotion to Corporal. Regardless of the loss, he performed a successful heroic mission that did real damage to the enemy's ability to wage war. Because of this, the conflict ends in 6 months and innumerable lives are saved.
Unfortunately, a fierce war breaks out. The situation is grim. All Noncombat troops are put in the field as light infantry. Wyatt's unit is in the thickest fighting for months and sees more action than most. It's a civil war, possibly a war of succession to the throne; and the enemy is from the same land. Winning his first combat, his immediate superior officer is slain, and he assumes command of the unit and is given a field promotion to Sergeant. He loses his second engagement with serious casualties. Becoming injured he gains an impressive scar to show for it across his abdomen. He wins his third engagement with serious casualties. Once again injured he gains another impressive scar to show for it across his face. Winning his fourth engagement, his immediate superior officer is once again slain, and he assumes command of the unit and is given a field promotion to Second Lieutenant.
